Located in the Lithgow region of the Central Tableands, NSW, our client, is seeking a Carpenter/Handyperson with residential experience to join their team!

 

This exciting opportunity would appeal to an individual who is passionate about Carpentry and has a desire to work for a reputable company, whilst carrying out all repairs and preventative maintenance to the property. 

 

• Preventative maintenance as scheduled and as arises
• Attending to all Carpentry tasks as required 
• Assisting the Maintenance and Engineering teams as requested
• Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures

 
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Experience and/or knowledge of the Construction Industry
• Certificate III in Carpentry or proven experience of 4 + years
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well autonomously and in a team player
• Fluent in English (written and verbal), other languages are an advantage
• Able to undertake shift work, rotating roster/on call and assist in any after-hour emergencies that may arise
