Skillset are currently seeking applications for fulltime, Scaffolding Trainee to complete a nationally accredited qualification Scaffolding – Certificate III. The successful candidate will join a well-known local company to complete their training over 24-months. This entry-level opportunity is suited to applicants who are physically fit, highly-motivated, team players and enjoy working outdoors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist tradesmen to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding
Use of scaffolding tools and equipment
Carry out measurements and calculations
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Operation of forklift
Assisting in the yard / maintaining the workplace
Perform manual labour duties in an outdoor setting
Adhere to Work Place Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

WE ARE SEEKING INDIVIDUALS:

Keen to work outdoors and in the Construction Industry
Ability to work in a physically demanding role in outdoor
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Exhibit good work ethic and time management to ensure that tasks are completed on time
Strong attention to detail and a drive to get the job done
Drivers Licence (manual)
White Card or willingness to obtain
Willing to complete a Pre-Employment Medical (including Drug & Alcohol Screening)
